Opportunities for seeing wildlife don't get any better than on your EduQuest program. You will be in one of the most diverse Ecological environments on Earth, with thousands of different species of plants animals birds and all manner of marine life. The Smithsonian has many research stations here, the Audubon has their world record bird counts here...no where is there more to see in such a small area.

In season, on some of the nearby beaches, you can see seaturtles laying eggs.

Just off the beaches where your EduQuest program begins, you have the coral reefs and mangroves before you, the nursery's of the oceans. You'll see all kinds of marine life here, up close.

In the rainforest, where many of your programs are set, you have almost endless opportunities to see true nature... from small amphibians to reptiles.

On your river trips along the waters edge you will probably spot many small unusual mammals,

as well as some larger ones...

In the middle branches things to see...

and in the high trees even more to see...

Remember that the Audubon Society consistently has their World Record Bird specie counts here, and the Smithsonian has multiple research stations here... must be for a reason.

The bio-diversity is helped because of the overlap of North and South American species in this area, plus migratory paths and the diversity of ecological habitats available, from mangroves to mountains.

Another plus is the amount of land and territories and reserves that create  natural haven for exploited and endangered species. More than 30% of land areas is in some protected state, and another 24% is still mostly unused.

Your EduQuest program allows you the opportunity to reach many of these bio-spheres to see for your self the rich animal diversity and abundance.
